Cross Country Education is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team for an immediate start with continued opportunities for the '25-'26 school year. This role involves providing specialized speech and language support through a classroom-wide consultation model, focusing on integrated staff and student support rather than traditional pull-out therapy. Deliver expert services within Center-Based Cognitive Impairment (CI) classrooms, with a heavy emphasis on AAC and Assistive Technology (AT). Manage a caseload from early childhood through young adulthood (ages 2.5–26), ensuring developmental continuity.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Michigan Speech Language Pathologist License or Certification
- Prior experience or strong clinical knowledge in AAC/AT systems
- Prior experience working with students in Cognitive Impairment (CI) settings
- Demonstrated ability to implement a consultative, classroom-based model across a broad age range (Pre-K through age 26)
