About The Position

AIM (Assessment Intervention Management) is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract opportunity. This role is for an independent contractor (1099) and requires a Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, an active Texas SLP license, and a valid driver's license. Bilingual Spanish is preferred. The engagement is contingent on a background check clearing for public school settings.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and provide individual and group therapy aligned with IEP goals
  • Evaluate student progress and readiness for dismissal from services
  • Conduct independent evaluations to assess eligibility for speech-language services
  • Participate in IEP/ARD meetings to support appropriate placement and goal setting
  • Collaborate with teachers to support communication skills through classroom activities
  • Provide guidance to school personnel on identifying and understanding communication deficits
  • Communicate therapy goals and progress with colleagues, students, and parents
  • Support ongoing evaluation of speech-language services and recommend improvements
  • Assist in the selection of equipment and instructional materials
  • Compile and maintain accurate, timely reports and records meeting district and state requirements
