About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join the rehabilitation team at Autumn Lake at Cherry Lane. Clinical Fellowship (CFY) opportunities are available, making this an excellent option for both experienced SLPs and new graduates ready to begin their professional careers. This role offers the chance to build skills while making a meaningful impact on residents' communication, swallowing, and quality of life.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Maryland SLP license or eligibility to complete a Clinical Fellowship in Maryland
- Strong communication, clinical, and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or post-acute rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
- Clinical Fellows and new graduates are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and functional goals
- Provide skilled interventions addressing communication, cognition, and dysphagia
- Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment approaches as appropriate
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on strategies that support continued progress
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with OT, PT, nursing, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
