About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join the rehabilitation team at Autumn Lake at Windsor. This full-time opportunity is ideal for an SLP who enjoys helping residents strengthen communication, cognitive, and swallowing skills while supporting meaningful progress and quality of life.
Requirements
- Active Connecticut Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or post-acute rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
- New graduate Speech-Language Pathologists are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and resident goals
- Provide skilled therapy addressing communication, cognition, and dysphagia
- Monitor resident progress and modify treatment approaches as needed
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on strategies that support continued improvement
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with PT, OT, nursing, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
