About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team within a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting. This position offers the opportunity to work with residents recovering from illness, injury, neurological conditions, and swallowing disorders while helping them achieve meaningful functional outcomes.
Requirements
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Strong communication and clinical assessment skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing impairments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and resident goals
- Provide therapy focused on communication skills, cognitive function, and dysphagia management
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy staff, physicians, and families to support continuity of care
- Monitor progress, update treatment plans, and maintain compliant documentation
