About The Position

Concept Rehab is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – PRN to join our therapy team in Waterford, MI. This role offers a flexible PRN schedule and is ideal for individuals looking to supplement their current caseload, pick up additional hours, or enjoy the flexibility of PRN work. As an SLP, you will provide skilled speech-language pathology services to patients with a variety of communication, cognitive and swallowing needs. Concept Rehab has been therapist-owned and operated for over 45 years, providing clinicians with the support and resources needed for exceptional patient care.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Michigan SLP license
• ASHA certification or eligibility
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Patient-centered approach
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team

Nice To Haves

• Previous healthcare, SNF or post-acute rehabilitation experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide skilled therapy for speech, language, communication, cognition and swallowing
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment as appropriate
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Communicate with patients, families, physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Participate in care planning and discharge planning
• Educate patients, caregivers and facility staff
• Provide in-service training and support restorative/functional maintenance programs when appropriate
• Help patients maximize their independence and quality of life
