About The Position

Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join their team at Vibra Hospital of Central Dakotas, located in Mandan, ND. This is a 41-bed Critical Care Hospital that provides long-term acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Patients often require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, Vibra Hospital of Central Dakotas offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where staff can get to know their patients and their families.

Requirements

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Speech Therapist in the state of employment required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship Year required.
• Member of American Speech-Language and Hearing Association required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing and directing Speech-Language Pathologist services to patients including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication.
• Functions under physician’s orders.
