About The Position

Empower Young Voices. Transform Lives. Grow with Coyne! This is a part-time position, approximately 15-20 hours per week. Coyne is seeking a passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their award-winning Early Intervention program. The role involves helping young children develop communication skills, working collaboratively in a supportive environment. The SLP will conduct evaluations, provide consultation services to families and teams, deliver one-on-one therapy when needed, and maintain organized documentation.

Requirements

• Current California SLP license.
• At least one year of experience working with young children with developmental delays.
• Clear background and driving record.
• Current TB clearance.
• Current BLS certification.
• Any other required health and safety credentials (or willingness to obtain them).

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations for Early Start clients alongside other clinicians.
• Guide individualized intervention plans based on assessments.
• Provide consultation services tailored to each child's needs.
• Recommend strategies, communication supports, and meaningful goals in collaboration with Program Supervisors.
• Deliver one-on-one speech and language therapy targeting vocabulary, sentence structure, articulation, social communication, and feeding/swallowing when appropriate.
• Accurately track hours, document progress, and submit reports on time.
