This is a per diem, part-time position for a Speech Language Pathologist at Palos Pediatrics, primarily for virtual therapy services. The role involves evaluating patients with various speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, developing and implementing treatment plans, and monitoring patient outcomes. The position also includes patient discharge planning, communication with stakeholders, documentation, and adherence to billing and documentation policies. The Speech Language Pathologist will also be responsible for maintaining productivity standards, cleaning the work area, performing manual techniques, and promoting patient safety. Professional growth and participation in performance improvement activities are expected. The role may involve orienting new staff, participating in co-worker evaluations, supervising non-licensed personnel, and supporting the student clinical education program.
