This is a part-time, per diem position for Virtual Therapy services. The Speech Language Pathologist will interpret physician referrals, conduct speech and language evaluations for patients with various disorders, and establish and implement individualized treatment plans. They will monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals. The role also involves planning for patient discharge, including home programs and family teaching, and collaborating with stakeholders for optimal patient care. Documentation, statistics, billing, and scheduling are key responsibilities, along with adhering to productivity and billing/documentation policies. The position requires maintaining a clean work area, performing manual techniques, and demonstrating proficiency with available equipment. Participation in performance improvement activities, managing caseloads, and pursuing professional growth are also expected. The role may involve supervising non-licensed personnel and supporting student clinical education.
