About The Position

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join its outpatient therapy team in Mayfield Village, Ohio. This PRN position supports an expanding multidisciplinary team and offers a collaborative team culture, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to help patients reach their fullest potential. Applicants must have ASHA certification and the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs). The position is scheduled on weekdays, Monday through Friday, and pays $50.00 per hour.

Requirements

• State speech-language pathology licensure is required.
• ASHA certification is required; the position also requires CCCs.
• Meet ASHA minimum standards for initiating a Clinical Fellowship Year, including 36 credit hours in prescribed study.
• Complete 300 hours of prescribed clinical practicum experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care while maintaining positive interactions with centers and patients.
• Coordinate treatment programs with other clinical and therapeutic services.
• Evaluate assigned patients and establish appropriate treatment goals and programs.
• Develop comprehensive patient treatment goals to maximize outcomes, and continually evaluate patient status and goals.
