Frederick Health is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join their growing team in Frederick, Maryland. Caseloads commonly include orthopedics, neurological conditions, behavioral health, and critical care, offering a dynamic and rewarding clinical experience. Opportunities are available in the NICU for clinicians with relevant experience or those eager to expand their skills and grow within a supportive team.

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited school approved by CAA
• Current state licensure or eligibility in Speech Language Pathology in Maryland
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• One (1) year clinical experience preferred - inpatient, or skilled settings
• Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association
• Strong skills in flexibility, time management, leadership, and communication
• Focus on the patient and providing the utmost in customer service excellence
• Experience with documentation utilizing EMR

• Experience in neurology, dysphagia management, swallow studies, and ICU care
• Experience in the NICU

Responsibilities

• Speech Language Pathologist, SLP, will deliver quality speech services according to treatment plans
• Documenting progress toward identified objectives
• Provide accurate and timely documentation utilizing EMR platform
• Conducting patient and family education
• Display strong skills in flexibility, time management, and communication
