About The Position

Frederick Health is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their growing team in Frederick, Maryland. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a skilled SLP who thrives in an acute care setting and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care. The role involves working in a large, collaborative team in a fast-paced hospital environment managing a diverse patient population, including orthopedics, neurological conditions, behavioral health, and critical care. Opportunities are available in the NICU for clinicians with relevant experience or those eager to expand their skills. The position requires one year of hospital acute experience (inpatient or skilled settings), flexible scheduling with a requirement of two weekend days per month and one major/minor holiday per year. Holiday and weekend shifts are eligible for shift differential.

Requirements

  • Degree from an accredited school approved by CAA
  • Current state licensure or eligibility in Speech Language Pathology in Maryland
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • One (1) year clinical experience preferred - inpatient, or skilled settings
  • Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association
  • Strong skills in flexibility, time management, leadership, and communication
  • Focus on the patient and providing the utmost in customer service excellence
  • Experience with documentation utilizing EMR
