About The Position

Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join their team at Vibra Hospital of Boise. Vibra Hospital of Boise is a 40-bed Critical Care Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. The hospital offers specialized services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. This role provides an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly environment where staff can build strong relationships with patients and their families.

Requirements

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Speech Therapist in the state of employment required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship Year required.
• Member of American Speech-Language and Hearing Association required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.

Responsibilities

• Providing and directing Speech-Language Pathologist services to patients including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication.
• Functions under physician’s orders.
