This position is scheduled for 24 hours per week. Mountain View Academy, located in Colorado Springs, CO, opened in 2020 and serves students K-8. Requirements
- Master's Degree required
- Valid Colorado Department of Regulatory Affairs (DORA) SLP license OR Valid ASHA-CCS, AND SLP Special Services license issued by the CDE
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with at-risk students is preferred, where applicable.
Responsibilities
- Works in collaboration with the special education teacher in the formation of daily schedules, testing schedules, and annual meetings.
- Supplies the special education teacher with current speech/language student lists so he/she can maintain a master Special Education list.
- Provides specially designed instruction developed to meet the unique needs of each child resulting from his/her disability such as, resource room, inclusion and/or pullout services.
