About The Position
We’re hiring a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing healthcare team in New York City. This role is ideal for a licensed SLP / Speech Therapist passionate about improving communication, cognition, and swallowing function across diverse patient populations.
Requirements
- Active New York SLP license (or eligibility)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in acute care, outpatient rehab, or skilled nursing facility (SNF) preferred
- Strong skills in dysphagia management and cognitive-communication therapy
Nice To Haves
- CCC-SLP preferred (Clinical Fellows welcome)
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders (dysphagia)
- Develop individualized, evidence-based speech therapy treatment plans
- Treat patients with stroke, neurological conditions, brain injury, and post-surgical needs
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary rehab teams
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and monitor patient progress
