About The Position

Advantage Home Health Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide home health care to patients in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and surrounding areas. The position provides speech therapy in patients’ homes and supports the Agency’s mission and standards while delivering safe, quality care in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local guidelines and regulations. Requirements

Meet the education and experience requirements for a Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech pathology or audiology granted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience practicing as a licensed speech language pathologist is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide speech therapy services to patients as prescribed by a physician.
Assist patients with speech, language, oral and pharyngeal sensorimotor function, hearing, and balance.
Ensure quality and safe delivery of speech pathology services.
Promote and assist patients in progressing through care to achieve optimum involvement and independent maintenance of their needs in the least restrictive environment.
Provide speech pathology services that reflect the Agency’s mission and standards and comply with federal, state, and local guidelines and regulations.
Demonstrate support for achieving the Agency’s mission.
