About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. This role focuses on working with diverse socioeconomic populations, implementing therapy through a coaching model with parent education, and supporting families in their natural environments. Our approach emphasizes coaching parents and caregivers with strategies to implement during daily routines. We are looking for individuals passionate about pediatrics, who can work independently while valuing collaboration within a supportive team. Therapists are responsible for maintaining punctuality for all visits and communicating any schedule changes to the child's care team. Independent practice is key to our successful model.

Requirements

  • CF-SLPs: Must be on track to earn a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • CCC-SLPs: Must hold a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA CCC-SLP certification, and be eligible for North Carolina licensure.
  • All therapists must adhere to professional standards set by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), as well as state and federal laws and regulations.
  • A passion for working with diverse socioeconomic populations.
  • The ability to implement therapy using a coaching model approach with parent education is critical to the success of therapy outcomes.
  • No toy bags are permitted when working with children in the CDSA.
  • Therapy Tree therapists should possess a desire to work with children and families.
  • Pediatrics is a field that requires compassion and commitment.
  • Ability to work independently, while appreciating the opportunity to collaborate with a supportive team of therapists.

Responsibilities

  • Implement therapy using a coaching model approach with parent education.

  • Maintain promptness to all visits.
  • Communicate with all members of a child’s care team when there is a change in schedule.
  • Adhere to professional standards set by ASHA, state, and federal laws and regulations.
