About The Position
Remedy Home Health Care is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide impactful, one-on-one care through home health speech therapy services across Los Angeles. This role involves delivering personalized speech therapy, swallowing treatment, and communication rehabilitation to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. It is a rewarding opportunity to make a direct impact in senior care and rehab while working independently in a mobile therapy setting.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology
- Active California SLP License
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates welcome
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation (mobile home health role)
- Current auto insurance
- Professional liability insurance
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
- home health experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home speech therapy services in accordance with physician orders
- Perform evaluations and assessments for speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans with measurable outcomes
- Deliver swallowing therapy (dysphagia management) and communication training
- Educate patients and families on home programs and strategies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support holistic patient care
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with home health regulations
