About The Position

This is a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist position located in Harrisburg, PA. The schedule is Monday through Friday as needed, with no weekends. The compensation is $50-60/hr based on experience. This role requires the ability to treat a range of patients from pediatric (including newborns/infants) to geriatric, and involves collaboration with multiple disciplines including physicians and Occupational Therapists (OT). A minimum of 1 year of licensed pediatric experience and ASHA CCCs are required. Experience in outpatient pediatrics is also necessary.

Requirements

Meet American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) minimum standards for initiation Clinical Fellowship Year including but not limited to 36 credit hours in prescribed study.
State SLP licensure required
ASHA certification is required
300 hours in prescribed clinical practicum experience required.
At least 1 year of licensed pediatric experience.
Experience in outpatient pediatrics is required.
Must have CCCs.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Provide quality patient care while maintaining a positive level of interaction with centers and patients.
Coordinate treatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services.
Evaluate assigned patients and establish appropriate treatment goals and treatment programs.
Develop comprehensive goals for patient treatment to maximize outcomes and provide ongoing evaluation of their status and goals.
