About The Position
Otterbein Gahanna SeniorLife is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join its therapy team in Gahanna, Ohio. The role provides care to residents in a senior living community, working alongside healthcare professionals in a warm, welcoming environment focused on person-centered care and serving older adults. The Speech-Language Pathologist conducts screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations; plans for discharge; and revises established plans of care under physician supervision. The position is with Functional Pathways, which describes its workplace as supportive and family-oriented, with an emphasis on ethical care, innovation, values, and customer service. Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Meet certification and licensure requirements established by state and national board associations.
- Active state license.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Current working knowledge of Functional Pathways policies and procedures and clinical programs, with application skills relevant to therapy disciplines.
- Complete all required screenings, certifications, and licensure.
Responsibilities
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations.
- Participate in discharge planning.
- Revise established plans of care under physician supervision.
