Speech Language Pathologist SLP
About The Position
Sevita provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing interdisciplinary team and support individuals of all ages in reaching meaningful milestones across clinic, community-based, and telehealth settings. The ideal candidate is compassionate, collaborative, and committed to delivering high-quality, individualized care that improves communication and overall quality of life.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Arizona state licensure/certification as an SLP
- Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle (for community-based services)
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented approach
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Assess speech, language, articulation, voice, and fluency skills across all populations
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based therapy plans
- Conduct evaluations and maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to maximize progress
- Provide caregiver education to support carryover of skills in home and community settings
- Coordinate services across clinic, community-based, and telehealth platforms
- Manage caseload, scheduling, and ensure accurate billing practices
- Support Feeding Services (High-Need Area) in collaboration with OT/SLP
- Assist with Custom Durable Medical Equipment (DME) as part of interdisciplinary collaboration
- Participate in Community-Based Services (marketed as community services, not home health) across all disciplines
- Provide Telehealth Services across all disciplines
