PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Acute Care
About The Position
PT Solutions is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in Anderson, IN, to work with Ascension St. Vincent Anderson. This role focuses on providing rehabilitation therapy services within a 125-bed inpatient facility, including 13 dedicated acute rehab beds. The facility is a Level 3 Trauma Center and Joint Commission (JC) Stroke Certified, handling complex cases and providing specialized care for stroke patients. The position emphasizes delivering evidence-based, quality care, establishing timely treatment plans, fostering positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams, and building relationships with hospital staff such as physicians, case management, and nurses.
Requirements
- Graduate of a CAA approved Speech-Language Pathology program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- State Licensure in Speech Language Pathology
- Basic Life Support certification

Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient to facilitate return home or to next level of care
- Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs
- Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members
- Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (I.e. physicians, case management, nurses, etc)
