About The Position

Cortica is hiring a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist in Carlsbad, California. The role provides pediatric speech and language therapy using dynamic, play-based approaches that integrate sensory, motor, and cognitive strategies. Clinicians develop individualized treatment plans within a holistic, transdisciplinary model and empower families to use communication strategies beyond therapy sessions. The SLP maintains accurate documentation and complies with state and company policies, while consulting across disciplines to support outcomes for children. Cortica offers a Clinical Ladder Program with structured progression from Level 1 to Level 4, along with mentorship, training, and clinical program development opportunities. Clinicians at higher levels may mentor newer SLPs and contribute to clinical leadership.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Active SLP licensure in the state or states where the candidate will practice.
ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
Passion for collaborative, integrative care and working with neurodivergent populations.
Strong leadership potential and interest in mentorship and career growth.

Responsibilities

Provide dynamic, play-based speech and language therapy integrating sensory, motor, and cognitive strategies.
Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with a holistic, transdisciplinary approach to care.
Educate and empower families so communication strategies extend beyond therapy sessions into everyday life.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and company policies.
Consult with physicians, nurse practitioners, occupational therapists, physical therapists, music therapists, and ABA professionals to support outcomes for children.
Contribute to the Clinical Ladder Program and opportunities in mentorship, training, and clinical program development.
