About The Position

Liberty POST is seeking motivated and energetic Early Childhood Speech Pathologists for part-time and/or full-time employment to work with children aged birth to 5 years old through Early Intervention and Preschool Special Education programs. Liberty POST has provided high-quality, individualized services since 1994, backed by Liberty Resources Inc. and part of a large social services network. Originally a speech-language practice, it has expanded to offer services throughout New York State. The organization employs over 400 professionals in various settings and promotes a collaborative team approach for evaluations, direct therapy, and family education using child-directed play. The focus is on the child's natural learning environment, the family's strengths and needs, and serving a diverse population.

Requirements

Current New York State License and Certification in Speech Pathology
Master's Degree
Valid Driver’s License
Early Childhood Experience (1 year)

Responsibilities

Evaluate, monitor and track child’s progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Test and evaluate child’s abilities to determine realistic goals.
Record information on the initial evaluation, treatment, and progress in a timely manner using Electronic Medical Record system.
Proficient at writing detailed analysis and reports.
Effectively organize and maintain confidentiality of child’s records and other documentations.
Follow all state laws and regulations as it pertains to Early Intervention, CPSE/CSE special education.
