The Speech-Language Pathologist plans, conducts and evaluates the treatment program for individuals with disorders of the comprehension and production of speech and language, as set forth by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. Under the direction of the attending physician, the Speech-Language Pathologist provides assessment and treatment of cognitive, speech and swallowing disorders. Speech-Language Pathologist is to provide high quality, safe, compassionate patient care in the acute care and in the outpatient setting, as well as supervise the work done by other SLP in the department. Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment team. Perform duties in a manner that is consistent with Patient First Service Standards.
