Your Impact & Responsibilities: As our Full-Time SLP, you will be the lead expert in communication and swallowing wellness. Requirements

  • Licensure: Current, valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License (Required).
  • Aptitude: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate professionally with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Dedication: A commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive Evaluations: Diagnose speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders (dysphagia) to empower patient recovery.
  • Custom Treatment Plans: Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to specific patient needs and physician orders.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with nursing, physicians, and other therapy disciplines to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
  • Education & Advocacy: Provide essential training to patients, families, and nursing staff to ensure successful maintenance and safe transitions.
  • Outcome Management: Monitor progress, adjust plans dynamically, and participate in clinical conferences to drive optimal patient outcomes.
  • Professional Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with state and payer requirements.
