The primary function is to achieve Goals for Sales and Placements of Speech Generating Devices through Marketing, In-Services, Demonstrations, and Evaluations with Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) and other Health Care professionals, patients, and families while adhering to all company, accreditation, and HIPPAA rules and regulations. The role involves managing a territory to reach revenue and service goals, maintaining rapport with referral sources, and processing orders in a timely manner. The consultant will also assist with training DME partners, follow up with patients to ensure understanding of product use, and promote products and services through ongoing direct contact. Responsibilities include calling on and following up with major referral sources such as Speech Therapy Clinics, School Systems, Rehabilitation Facilities and Hospitals, Home Health Care agencies, Private Duty Nursing agencies, SLP Programs (Universities), and Advocacy Groups and Associations. The role also requires assisting in training subsequent AAC Consultants as the company grows and reporting on designated spreadsheets weekly for documentation and referral management. This is a Full Time, Salary Exempt position.
