About The Position

The incumbent will provide speech and language services to assess, diagnose and implement treatment of speech and/or language remediation programs to the preschool populations. In addition, the role provides consultative, public education, and parent training services. Requirements

  • Master of Speech Language Pathology (SLP)
  • College of Speech-Language Pathologists & Audiologists of Saskatchewan (CSASK) membership
  • Basic - Interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate - Problem solving skills
  • Excellent assessment, diagnostic and intervention skills
  • Intermediate - Assessment skills
  • Basic - Verbal communication skills
  • Basic - Organizational skills
  • Basic - Writing skills
  • Intermediate - Decision making skills
  • Basic - Capability to transform systems: Champion and orchestrate change
  • Intermediate - Communication skills
  • Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge in various treatments and strategies for Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Travel required
  • Must be available a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours per 3 week period
  • Must be available all shifts, short shifts, short notice calls, stats and holidays, where applicable
  • Applicants must upload all relevant documents (ex: certificates, diplomas, proof of enrollment, licenses and/or memberships) relating to the qualifications of the position
  • Those being interviewed are required to bring a valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) to the interview; it must be dated within six (6) months and include a vulnerable sector search
