About The Position
Speech Language Pathologist, Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) provides speech language therapy services to clinic patients. Requirements
- Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders or equivalent.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure.
- Ability to collaborate and accept direction.
- Ability to use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone.
- Ability to think critically.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments effectively.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload.
- Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Ability to recall information with accuracy.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- California license in Speech Pathology or has filed an approved plan for the RPE (Required Professional Experience).
- Eligible for or currently holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or has filed an approved plan for the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Has filed or has an approved plan for the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Nice To Haves
- Conversational fluency in sign language or a second language, particularly Spanish or Vietnamese.
