About The Position

This pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Assistant position provides school-based clinical services to a pediatric caseload. The caseload is variable and determined in coordination with the assistant’s needs and supervising therapist. Services include treatment, documentation, team collaboration, and serving as a liaison among paraprofessionals and families. The role is not fully remote, but telehealth services may be used on a case-by-case basis as indicated by the therapist and client. The team emphasizes clinician support, professional growth, autonomy, flexibility, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized pediatric treatment services to clients and their families at a frequency determined by the assistant and supervising therapist.
• Complete weekly electronic documentation, including daily notes, progress notes, communication notes, and other required supporting documentation.
• Provide appropriate pediatric therapeutic interventions using a variety of techniques and modalities.
• Liaise with paraprofessionals, family members, and the community as needed to best serve pediatric clients.
