Requirements

  • AAS from NC-accredited SLPA program, OR a permit to practice in NC if a bachelor's degree candidate
  • Must be permitted by the NC Board of SLPA Examiners PRIOR to consideration
  • Strong experience as an SLPA in schools.

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapy services in school-based settings, which may include Head Start programs or daycare centers.
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
  • Document services using Electronic Medical Records.
  • Travel between locations if applicable, and be compensated for travel time and mileage.
