Requirements

AAS from NC-accredited SLPA program, OR a permit to practice in NC if a bachelor's degree candidate.
Must be permitted by the NC Board of SLPA Examiners PRIOR to consideration.
Strong experience as an SLPA in schools.

Mentorship for new professionals is available.

Responsibilities

Provide therapy services as an SLPA in a school setting.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Utilize Electronic Medical Records for documentation.
Potentially provide services in Head Start programs or daycare centers.
