About The Position

The practice of speech-language pathology shall include assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education, communication, and demonstration of techniques addressing speech-language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders to meet the needs of patients and their families with supervisory guidance provided as needed. Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Conferred from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year.
  • Texas Speech Language Pathologist License.
  • License in state of hire and wherever care is delivered.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology - American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Facility Managed)
  • 2 years of Professional experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Educated or trained in dysphagia assessment and management.
  • 1 year of Acute care and/or inpatient rehabilitation experience.
