About The Position

Leominster Public Schools is seeking a Speech and Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to work directly under a Licensed Speech Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 School Year. This is a full-time, school-year position.

Requirements

  • Speech-Language Pathology Assistant License

Responsibilities

  • Assist speech-language pathologists in the remediation or development of speech and language skills.
  • Document student progress toward meeting established IEP objectives.
  • Assist speech-language pathologists in documenting student progress.
  • Plan lessons for both face-to-face and remote platforms.
  • Perform support duties such as preparing materials, keeping records, maintaining supplies, and scheduling activities.
  • Prepare charts, graphs, or other visual displays to communicate student’s speech development.
