This Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serves as a member of assigned homes’ interdisciplinary teams with primary responsibilities of providing direct and indirect services related to residents’ speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing skills/function. Services provided include evaluations; direct therapy; indirect services, including in-service training and consultation with staff/team to ensure integration of services; and, necessary record-keeping and documentation in the electronic health record. The position fulfills the Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disability (ICF/IID) standards requiring that the services described above are provided by qualified personnel.
