About The Position

To provide an educational program that meets the educational needs of each student in the teacher’s area of responsibility.

Must hold a Speech and Language Pathologist certification.
Must be able to provide instruction consistent with district and school expectations.
Must be able to communicate with students, parents, administrators, and other staff members.
Must be able to employ planning, record keeping, resource management, and learning environment management practices.
Must be able to provide student supervision that ensures student safety.
Must assume professional responsibilities and ensure continued personal and professional growth.
Must implement district goals and objectives.
Must perform other duties as assigned consistent with the contract.

Provide instruction consistent with district and school expectations that meets the educational needs of all students assigned.
Communicate with students, parents, administrators, and other staff members in a manner consistent with district and school expectations.
Employ planning, record keeping, resource management, and learning environment management practices that are consistent with district and school expectations and maximize teacher effectiveness.
Provide student supervision that ensures student safety consistent with district and school expectations.
Assume professional responsibilities in a manner that meets district and school expectations and ensures continued personal and professional growth.
Implement district goals and objectives for certificated teachers as modified in the individual’s planning conference.
Perform other duties as assigned consistent with the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District/Livermore Education Association contract.
