Stargate School is seeking an individual who is passionate about supporting students with identified disabilities across all settings in the school environment. A successful candidate will have a growth mindset, eagerness to collaborate with their team while holding a high level of communication for the students to have equitable access to learning opportunities. This individual assists students with special educational needs by delivering academic instruction, assisting the teacher with preparation of classroom materials, and adapting curriculum to individual student learning levels. Monitors the behavior of students and assists in the implementation of BIP. A paraprofessional works under the supervision of Stargate’s K-12 Director of Special Populations and the general direction of the Learning Specialists (special education case manager) and classroom teachers. This is a 9-month position, and the hourly rate is $20.31 - $25.04 based on applicable experience and education level.
