About The Position
This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) permanent position for the 26/27 school year, serving as a SPED Mild/Mod Support Needs- Autism Teacher at LEGETTE SCHOOL. The role is for K-12 and requires a fully credentialed staff member. The position is available starting August 11, 2026, and will remain open until filled, with applications screened weekly. Responsibilities
- Provide support for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder within the Mild/Moderate Special Education setting.
- Fulfill the duties of a K-12 teacher in the Special Education department.
- Participate in weekly application screening processes.
- Ensure all application documents are complete and attached before the deadline.
Benefits
- Salary: $60,000 - $126,000 annually
- $5,000 - $14,000 annual stipends for hard-to-staff Special Education positions
- $2,000 annual stipends for counselor, social worker, and teacher librarian positions
- $3,000 annual stipend for advanced degrees
- $1,000 - $4,500 annual stipends for various extra-curricular activities
- $1,500 - $6,000 annual stipends for various "leadership" roles
