About The Position

The San Juan Unified School District is seeking a SPED Moderate & Severe Teacher for Lichen K-8 School. This is a permanent, full-time position (1.0 FTE) for the 2026-27 school year. The role involves working with students with extensive support needs in a K-12 setting. Benefits

Salary: $60,000 - $126,000 annually
$5,000 - $14,000 annual stipends for hard-to-staff Special Education positions
$2,000 annual stipends for counselor, social worker, and teacher librarian positions
$3,000 annual stipend for advanced degrees
$1,000 - $4,500 annual stipends for various extra-curricular activities
$1,500 - $6,000 annual stipends for various "leadership" roles
