About The Position

KBR is seeking a Spectrum Management Analyst to provide on-site support to Headquarters Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM) at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in spectrum management, spectrum engineering, and regulatory compliance, along with the ability to provide expert technical analysis, recommendations, and strategic guidance to senior leaders and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • An active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain.
  • 3+ years of spectrum management experience supporting the U.S. Space Force, U.S. Air Force, Department of War, or other federal organizations.
  • Completion of formal Spectrum Management training (e.g., NTIA Federal Spectrum Management Course, Electromagnetic Spectrum Manager's Course, JEWTOC, or equivalent).
  • Experience supporting a Headquarters-level organization (Service, Combatant Command, Field Command, MAJCOM, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical analysis, recommendations, and strategic guidance on spectrum management issues.
  • Experience preparing and presenting briefings, staff packages, and decision-support products for senior leaders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience coordinating with AFSMO, DoD CIO, NTIA, or other spectrum management organizations.
  • Knowledge of U.S. Space Force operations and mission requirements.
  • BA/BS degree (5 years of relevant experience may substitute).
  • Task Management Tool proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate spectrum certification packages with government agencies, program offices, and industry partners.
  • Analyze Radio Frequency Allocation (RFA) requests and provide technical recommendations to support mission requirements.
  • Prepare frequency authorization requests for testing, training, exercises, and operational activities.
  • Provide spectrum engineering and management expertise to ensure spectrum-dependent systems operate effectively and without interference.
  • Advise HQ STARCOM leadership on spectrum policy, regulatory matters, spectrum transition initiatives, and emerging spectrum challenges.
  • Coordinate with AFSMO, DoD CIO, and other government stakeholders to assess impacts, protect USSF spectrum interests, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare briefings, reports, and staff packages for senior leaders.
  • Travel occasionally to support customer meetings, exercises, and mission-related events.
