This entry-level to intermediate role involves receiving, inspecting, and processing specimens such as blood and urine; entering patient information into laboratory systems; verifying specimen quality; and ensuring samples are properly labeled and tracked throughout testing. The role also assists with preparing and distributing samples to different laboratory departments and with basic laboratory tasks such as culture setup. The processor follows safety and privacy standards and collaborates with laboratory staff and healthcare teams to support timely, efficient patient care. It offers hands-on experience in clinical laboratory operations and healthcare support.
