We employ more than 350 highly trained professionals who work closely with leading healthcare providers, medical researchers, and various members of the criminal and civil justice system to provide integrated testing and consultative services. Our headquarters located in Horsham, PA, currently has multiple openings for Specimen Processors in our Specimen Processing department. We have multiple regular full-time positions available. Because our laboratory is open 24/7/365, holiday rotations may be required as needed. Requirements
- High School Diploma
- MS Office and typing/data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
Responsibilities
- Receives, unpacks, completes chain of custody and related documentation, accessions into LIMS, returns samples, monitors department reports and performs support activities in the department.
- Receiving and Opening packages
- Transporting samples to the lab
- Inventory storage
- Create specimen homogenates
- Monitor backlog report, retrieve, prepare and document samples for outsourced testing.
- Create blank tissues for Lab
- Maintain chain of custody documentation
- Accession clinical samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
- Second reviews (clinical)
- Package samples for return to client
