About The Position
The Specimen Management Specialist II will be responsible for providing operational support to the Specimen Management Division. This role involves precise specimen handling, compliance with protocols, and ensuring efficient departmental workflow.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience.
Responsibilities
- Accurately accession specimens adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Perform intra-lab specimen transportation functions.
- Scan, verify, and organize paperwork associated with specimen accessioning.
- Execute routine and specialized tasks to facilitate seamless departmental workflows.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the lab environment.
- Participate in the orientation and training of departmental staff.
- Ensure strict adherence to protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Perform directed clerical duties within the department.
