About The Position

Gradient began with a simple idea: transportation runs better – and safer – with compliance at the core. Family-owned and operated since 1996, we continue to deliver people, goods, and materials safely to their destinations by helping businesses and operators navigate compliance. We believe safer transportation makes a safer world, which is why our mission is to safeguard both businesses and lives. We are stewards of knowledge and leaders of industry, upholding our economy and protecting our communities through lasting, trusted partnerships. As a Specimen Collection Technician, you'll be the professional on the front lines - collecting drug and alcohol specimens from commercial drivers and operators with accuracy, care, and integrity. This isn't just a clinical role - it's a compliance role. You'll follow collection procedures precisely, treat every participant with professionalism and respect, and help keep two collection sites running smoothly. If you take pride in doing detail-oriented work correctly every single time and enjoy knowing your work has a direct impact on public safety, this job is for you. In addition to the specimen collection process, this role will support business operations through various administrative tasks. Here's what your day may look like: Check in participants, verify identification, explain the collection process, and ensure each person is treated with professionalism and discretion Conduct collections of urine, saliva, hair, and breath specimens, maintaining strict chain-of-custody at every step Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage front-desk responsibilities between collections Process invoices and collect payment for services Complete all regulatory documentation accurately and on time — no exceptions Maintain organized, stocked, and inspection-ready collection sites at both locations Coordinate with the team during high-volume periods and step in where needed
