As a Specification Representative, you will play a key role in promoting Sierra Forest Products’ diverse product portfolio within target markets, with the objective of increasing specifications and ultimately driving revenue growth.

Requirements

Experience working in or with the architectural design community and/or sales in a related industry.
Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Results driven with excellent negotiation, problem solving and influencing skills.
Outgoing, creative, self-driven with a passion for results.
Ability to manage a long sales pipeline with the help of our CRM software.
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Nice To Haves

College or university degree in a related field or equivalent level of field experience an asset.
Interior Design Accreditation or Certificate.

Responsibilities

Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key industry contacts, including architects, designers, general contractors, and end users.
Identify relevant projects, key players, and decision makers with the goal of increasing, securing, and sustaining product specifications.
Collaborate with the sales team and utilize CRM tools to accurately track and manage specified projects through to completion and sale.
Engage in continuous learning to strengthen product knowledge and industry expertise.
Work closely with the management team to support and coordinate marketing initiatives.
Maintain productive, professional relationships with vendors.
Stay current on new products and industry trends, sharing insights with both management and the sales team.
Partner with design firms to support colour palette selection and overall design solutions.
