About The Position

Specialty Systems Engineer The Opportunity: Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your technical skills with big picture thinking to make an impact in on Military GPS User Equipment. You understand your customer’s environment and how to develop the right systems for their mission. Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer focused engineering solution. As the Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RMA) Specialty Engineer, you will direct critical engineering support initiatives for Military GPS User Equipment (MGUE) and related development. You will evaluate and elevate contractor processes, including Built-In-Test (BIT) and Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), to ensure maximum fault isolation and failure mode coverage. Furthermore, you will drive supply chain resiliency by executing Manufacturing Readiness Assessments and integrating risk management, threat assessments, and anti-counterfeiting measures into core program designs. You will serve as the primary authority enforcing specialty engineering standards like parts management, Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS), and Failure Reporting and Correction Action System (FRACAS) across program control boards. By collaborating with government agencies, contractors, and testing organizations, you will plan and execute comprehensive test campaigns such as Reliability Growth and Demonstration Testing. Join us. The world can’t wait.
