Opportunity Overview We have an immediate opening for an Specialty Services Team Registered Nurse to join our team at Shady Grove Fertility. Schedule: Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Four weekend shifts per quarter will be required (4 hour shift) and 1 holiday per year. In this position you will work in your local office 1-2 days per week. This role provides the opportunity to grow within a nationally respected organization while remaining closely connected to the patients and teams you support every day.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years as an SGF Nurse Coordinator.
  • Demonstrates an ability to independently manage multiple patients, priorities, and time-sensitive clinical responsibilities.
  • Strong experience working with electronic medical records (EMR); FERT/NextGen proficiency is required.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with and coordinate multiple parties simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work independently in a hybrid/remote environment.
  • Ability to exercise sound clinical judgment and appropriately escalate concerns.
  • Strong customer service skills and a patient-centered approach.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and follows through on responsibilities without requiring constant oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate case management and treatment for third-party patients throughout their treatment cycles, including FET treatment plans for Intended Parents and Gestational Carriers, in accordance with established clinical protocols and physician orders.
  • Serve as a consistent nursing resource and primary point of contact for patients and interdisciplinary teams throughout the screening and treatment process.
  • Coordinate care and communicate effectively with physicians, clinical staff, agencies, Intended Parents, Gestational Carriers, outside monitoring facilities, and other external partners.
  • Schedule treatment, appointments, and required outside monitoring, including ultrasounds, laboratory testing, and other clinical services.
  • Obtain, review, and follow up on outside monitoring results; accurately enter results into the EMR and ensure timely physician review and sign-off to prevent treatment delays.
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and timely EMR documentation, including treatment plans, monitoring results, physician directions, and changes in treatment.
  • Ensure all appropriate parties receive timely and accurate communication regarding treatment plans, physician orders, monitoring results, and changes in care.
  • Provide Intended Parents and Gestational Carriers with counseling, education, and support throughout treatment, including guidance on procedures, medications, injection administration, and the emotional complexities of fertility and third-party reproduction.
  • Provide compassionate emotional and psychological support to all parties in the match, recognizing the unique experiences and concerns of Intended Parents and Gestational Carriers.
  • Maintain positive, professional relationships with patients, families, physicians, staff, agencies, and external partners
