About The Position

The Specialty RN Ambulatory for this posting will work in our Cancer Treatment Center at our Royal Oak hospital in a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology clinic. The candidate must be comfortable with accessing medi-ports, starting IVs, and monitoring patients for infusion reactions. The primary population would be pediatric patients receiving chemotherapy and blood transfusions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (B.S.N., M.S.N., or DNP/PhD) required from an NLN approved school of nursing
• 3 years of recent relevant acute care nursing experience, required
• State of Michigan Registered Nurse license, required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support certification, required
• APHON certification, required
• Previous experience with accessing medi-ports and starting IVs, required
• Specialty certification, required within 1 year of hire
