About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Specialty Products Technician to support Validity’s Product Management division in processing and reviewing specialized screening services. This role is responsible for accurately completing abuse and neglect registry searches, healthcare sanctions searches and monitoring, credential verifications, social media screenings, and document management tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, thorough, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple time-sensitive tasks while providing responsive support to clients and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma and two years of relevant experience in a client/customer service role.
  • Exemplary customer service skills, with internal team members, clients, and vendors.
  • Concise and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Software savvy and technically adaptable.
  • A comfort with repetitive tasks and an eye for detail in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • Must be able to absorb procedures quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Process and review state abuse and neglect registry searches in accordance with applicable requirements and client specifications.
  • Process and review healthcare sanctions searches and complete ongoing monthly healthcare sanctions monitoring.
  • Complete credential verifications and document findings accurately and thoroughly.
  • Process social media screening requests and review results according to established guidelines.
  • Complete document management tasks, including reviewing, organizing, uploading, and maintaining required documentation.
  • Review screening results and supporting documentation to ensure they meet applicable federal and state requirements, as well as client-specific requirements.
  • Monitor assigned screening tasks and follow up on outstanding information or requirements to support timely completion.
  • Identify discrepancies, missing information, or potential issues and escalate them to the appropriate team member for resolution.
  • Maintain accurate and complete notes, documentation, and status updates throughout the screening process.
  • Respond professionally and promptly to internal and external inquiries related to specialty screening services.
  • Communicate with internal teams and external partners as needed to resolve issues and minimize processing time.
  • Provide clear and accurate information regarding screening requirements, processes, and status.
  • Support the Client Experience team by helping address client questions and service-related concerns.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation of important client interactions and activities within the CRM.
  • Review "ready to review" tasks within the Document Management System (DMS) for assigned programs and cohorts.
  • Verify that submitted documents are complete, accurate, and meet applicable regulatory and client requirements.
  • Upload, organize, and maintain documents within the DMS as required.
  • Identify missing, incomplete, or incorrect documentation and take appropriate follow-up action.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure tasks are completed within established timelines.
  • Follow established procedures and requirements for each specialty screening service.
  • Apply federal, state, regulatory, and client-specific requirements when processing and reviewing screenings.
  • Maintain a strong attention to detail when reviewing sensitive information and screening results.
  • Escalate unusual, complex, or potentially non-compliant findings to the appropriate team member.
  • Participate in quality improvement efforts and communicate recurring issues or process concerns to leadership.
  • Work collaboratively with Product Management, Client Experience, and other internal teams to support successful client outcomes.
  • Maintain current knowledge of specialty product processes, requirements, and applicable industry changes through company and industry-specific training.
  • Develop proficiency across all assigned Specialty Products and serve as a knowledgeable resource for routine questions.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment and support teammates when needed.
  • Complete general administrative duties as required, including data entry, basic reporting, answering phones, and filing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
